It was a pretty brief interview but I did get the opportunity to focus on how poor job postings and recruiting processes get in the way of good, diverse hiring, along with calling out those who claim we have a shortage of candidates or make big PR statements about how they’re going to “focus on diversity” without actually DOING a damn thing to change HOW they hire.
